Junior Agricultural Lawyer

Our client is seeking a junior agricultural lawyer to aid in their expanding workload at the firm's headquarters based in Northwich

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attendance upon clients both in person and by telephone.
• Advising clients as to the appropriate course of action relative to their case.
• Maintaining high professional standards of competence and financial integrity.
• Effectively maintaining and servicing a workload.
• Maintain high professional standards, confidence and integrity.
• Processing cases in an efficient manner through to completion.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of legal developments, including compliance with continuing professional and development requirements.
• Willingness to learn new skills and areas of work.
• Such other tasks as the firm may from time to time require.

Qualifications: Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales

Experience: Three years experience is a similar post but this requirement can be waived at the discretion of the Partners.

Knowledge / Skills:

• Excellent communicator, both face to face and over the telephone.
• Ability to draft and prepare clear and concise documents.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate where appropriate.
• Effective management of time.
• Good standard of computer literacy with a willingness and ability to learn new technology.
• Research skills

The salary is negotiable and will depend on a candidate's experience
