A Senior Business Development Manager is being sought by this international law firm to join its team. Driving the marketing and business development strategy for the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration and Employment group, this role focuses on business development and marketing planning, client development, targeting and new business generation, pitching and marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity to work for an innovative, leading law firm that boast a great culture and team environment.
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key part in supporting client development and profile-raising initiatives in the UK and international markets, and also have line management responsibility for the UK based practice team members. This role will involve:
- Developing, managing and executing business development and marketing plans;
- Client account responsibility for some key clients as well as litigation priority clients, and co-leading the practice’s global Client Listening Programme;
- Advising partners and teams on specific new business opportunities and providing support,
- Advising on panel and opportunity-specific pitches across the litigation globally;
- Overlooking the delivery of global litigation marketing programs and campaigns; and
- Line managing four and a half UK-based team members with dotted line reports from regional team members.
To be considered for this position, significant experience working in a business development role in a professional services environment is required. You will have a broad base of experience including the marketing mix, client relationship management, pitches and targeting. It would be advantageous if you have working knowledge of litigation markets, although this is not essential.
