Interim Legal Services Manager & Deputy Monitoring Officer

Venn group's specialist Public Sector Legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Legal Services Manager and Deputy Monitoring Officer to join a stable and friendly Local Authority Legal team based in East Anglia.

Our client can initially offer a 6 month contract on a part time basis, with the possibility of extension dependant on workload. Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with previous experience working within a Local Authority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performance managing the Legal Department team of 14, as well as supporting the development and supervision of the junior members in the team. This role is ideal for anyone who has recently been a Legal Services Manager or who is looking to take that next step in local government.

Hourly rates are to be negotiated depending on experience.
