In House Litigation/Insurance Solicitor Job - Cirencester - Flexible Working + Parking

This growing and dynamic business have a rare opportunity for a solicitor with experience in litigation /insurance to join their team in Cirencester. This is an excellent role for a senior lawyer to be part of a determined and enthusiastic team committed to enabling continued commercial success. You will have exposure to and work closely with senior management; in addition to flexible working, you will also have access to allocated parking.

Your new role
You will be assisting the Head of legal with managing a caseload of commercial litigation claims across various legal entities and clients. You will need a strategic approach to handling complex, high value claims with multiple parties and will need to maintain and develop excellent relationships with customers and clients, as well as; determining case strategy, analysing liabilities and setting appropriate reserves, managing third party vendors and negotiating settlements.

What you need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in litigation/insurance and/or a similar claims adjusting role within the UK legal/insurance market. You will ideally have experience in leading and managing more junior members of the team. In-House OR Private practice experience will be considered, however it is essential that you have strong knowledge and experience of litigation within the insurance market.

You must have good awareness of the role of the legal function in a large business and have the ability to contribute actively in the taking of key business decisions. An appetite to learn new skills and the versatility and technical ability to deal with issues outside of your experience and learn quickly on the job is desirable.
