Paralegal

An international company specialising in automobile leasing and fleet management are looking for a Paralegal experienced in commercial contracts to join their in-house legal team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities of your new role

Primarily responsible for drafting, revising and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, your other key duties as Paralegal will include:

• Managing the triage process for incoming queries and prioritise contract requests and queries;
• Taking ownership of queries, escalating where necessary;
• Providing commercial advice to terms and conditions proposed by customers and potential key partners; and
• Assisting the team to maintain key templates.

Candidate profile

It is essential that the incoming Paralegal demonstrates:

• Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts;
• Experience in the review and provision of advice relating to customer contracts;
• Familiarity working with NDAs;
• Good analytical, organisation, communication and creative skills;
• A concern for detail, accuracy, professionalism and a strong team player; and
• A law degree

Other desirable skills of the in house hire include:

• Experience working within an in-house commercial team in a paralegal capacity;
• Knowledge of intellectual property matters; and
• Completion of the Legal Practice Course.
