THE ROLE
Within the Employment team which sits within the International HR Services Group, providing clients with an efficient and cost-effective service that encompasses Employment, Business Immigration and Employee Incentives & Benefits.
Due to the significant increase in international projects and High Court work in which the department is involved and the departure of an experienced associate, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced mid- senior level associate to join the Employment Team in London.
The new recruit will support Partners in all respects of employment law (including Employment Tribunals and High Court litigation) with an expectation that he or she will also be involved in the coordination of cross-border projects including restructurings and compliance projects.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate is likely to have worked at an international law firm with prior experience of projects of this type.
The firm expects associates to advise in a way that supports clients' strategic objectives whilst being practical and commercial and to become involved in the numerous business development opportunities.
Candidates with 3pqe+ who have gained experience in a leading City firm are likely to suit this role and will have excellent academics, including a 2:1 degree and experience of handling complex employment matters gained within a comparable environment.
Experience of restrictive covenant injunctions, delivery up applications and a range of employee competition issues would be helpful and general employment advisory work is essential along with a desire to be working for a truly international firm.
