This is an exciting opportunity to join a top tier global IP team that is looking to expand its IP litigation practice in London with the hire of junior to mid level lawyers, including NQs who are either already newly qualified, or who are due to qualify in Spring 2019.
Under the leadership of dynamic and very entrepreneurial market leading practitioners, the role will focus on patent litigation work whilst also providing the opportunity to work on some brands and copyright disputes. Suitable lawyers will have experience in, and be able to demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for patent IP work. Barristers as well as lawyers with relevant experience gained in other jurisdictions including the US, Australia and New Zealand are also welcome to apply.
The firm positively encourages lawyers of all levels to be actively involved in business development, providing each associate with a budget for marketing and client development, and also supports associates seeking the Higher Rights qualification. Lawyers will benefit from the firm's exceptional learning and development training which includes its well regarded in house advocacy skills program that aims to provide its lawyers with the tools to regularly enhance their abilities and technique.
The firm works with established, major names across the life sciences as well as technology sectors and whilst a science background is not essential, you will possess strong intellectual ability and client-facing skills as well as a keen analytical and entrepreneurial mind.
Given the pivotal point in the growth of the firm's London IP practice, this is a unique opening for a junior to mid level lawyer to make a substantial, career-enhancing move to a global IP powerhouse to take on a role that will provide second-to-none career prospects, hands on senior support, direct client contact, inspiring leadership and stellar technical and soft skills training.
