In-house Legal Counsel

Merseyside manufacturing company seeks additional Commercial Counsel for its dedicated in-house legal department. The role is ideally suited to general commercial solicitors however applications from commercial litigation, construction and other commercial solicitors will be considered.


Our Merseyside headquartered client is an established and reputable manufacturing company that processes and produces products for the UK and European markets.

Working within an established in-house team, the Commercial Counsel will assist the business with a variety of domestic and international commercial agreements. Typical contracts might include international supply contracts, procurement of raw materials, construction of new plant and manufacturing sites, warehouse and logistics contracts, IT and infrastructure agreements, energy and recycling contracts, real estate (office leases etc.) contracts, as well as corporate/M&A work and regulatory and compliance matters.

Our client is looking for a circa 4+ years' PQE Solicitor / Commercial Counsel with solid ties to the North West / Merseyside and a real desire to work in-house in a major manufacturing business. You will have trained or qualified with a leading law firm, or recognised in-house legal team, and should be able and/or willing to handle a mixed commercial caseload. Any languages skills, particularly French, German or Spanish, would be extremely beneficial.
