Registry Clerk and Property Paralegal.
If you are looking to join one of Newcastle's most prestigious and award winning firms, this may be the role for you. This is a great opportunity for you to join a longstanding Legal 500 firm that is constantly being praised for the quality of it's work. You will be joining one of the largest law firms in the North East, as it continues to expand with a new opening in their registry and property teams.
This is a dual responsibility role, and you will be expected to help out in the commercial property team and as a registry clerk. Within this you will be preparing marriage licenses, issuing papers relating to church planning procedures, prepare license documentation to members of the clergy and update formal records of the diocese. You will provide high quality administrative help to the Registrar and to the Diocesan Bishop.
You do not need to have experience in ecclesiastical cases, however commercial property, or very strong residential conveyancing experience is essential. Ideally, you will also have a general interest in charitable work or historical buildings.
