ELPL/ RTA Fee Earner – Police/Public Body Claims

ROLE: Our client requires an experienced fee earner/solicitor who specialises in civil actions against the police/public bodies.
As this is a niche area, they are willing to consider re-trains for an experienced PI fee earner in RTA or EL/PL

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Minimum 18 months’ civil litigation experience dealing with part 7 issued cases
• Good knowledge of the civil procedure rules
• Civil actions against the police experience preferred but not essential
• If no experience with actions against the police, then at least 2 years-experience dealing with litigated road traffic accidents or EL/PL/OL
• Law degree essential, LPC preferred but not essential
• Good knowledge of proclaim case management system preferred but not essential

SALARY/BENEFITS:

• Salary up to £30k depending upon experience
• Monthly bonus on offer of up to £500 depending on billing
• 31 days annual leave including bank holidays and time off over Christmas
• Training contracts available for the right candidate

• Progressive law firm dealing with a wide variety of matters against the police and public bodies including judicial review applications

• Working hours 9am – 5pm Mon-Fri
