Job Description: Internal Recruiter

As an expanding business we require a confident, experienced In-house recruiter.  You will work closely with HR and take responsibility for the recruitment life-cycle, from attraction to on-boarding.  Whilst recruiting high volumes and high calibre candidates it will also be necessary to maintain up to date records, improve processes and produce accurate stats for the Board of Directors. 

       Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings
  • Advertise job openings on career pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites)
  • Screen CV’s and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
  • Report to hiring managers and HR on the status of open positions
  • Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
  • Participate in job fairs to boost company’s reputation
  • Help new hires on board
  • Complete on boarding questionnaires with new starters, evaluate and report results to managers and HR
  • Support set up of Academy and Graduate schemes

Education and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as an internal recruiter, Recruiter or similar role
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Familiarity with Applicant tracking systems and CV databases
  • Excel literate to a good standard
