Finance/Asset Management High Level Junior Paralegal at US Law firm 12 month FTC: To £35,000

We have a fantastic opportunity at a leading US Law firm for a senior level paralegal to get their dream position and join a busy and demanding Asset Management department on an initial 12 month contract with a view to be an extended indefinitely.  The firm would ideally want candidates with asset finance/asset management/funds experience however they are prepared to look at the more traditional corporate/finance experience however most importantly the firm is looking for applicants with the right attitude, aptitude and professionalism as this will be a very high level paralegal positions where there is the opportunity to get involved with PQE/NQ level work and be truly utilised as part of the legal team rather than just undertake more mundane administrative work - plus there is a chance of undertaking lots and lots of paid overtime meaning this could also end up being a lucrative role too.  This firm does not have any trainees so you will automatically be expected to have the gravitas, handle the exposure and expectation of a trainee/NQ lawyer – you will have exposure to clients and drafting and transaction involvement and even though you will be responsible for the administrative side of the team this is not the reason for your hire but they will want an attitude of no job too big or too small.  With the firm being under 100 in size, they need their Paralegals to step up and take responsibility in an autonomous capacity.  Ideally looking for applicants experience to be from City law firms.  Offices are based in the City and standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm.
