Regulatory Compliance Manager

My client is a public sector organisation which is looking to recruit a Regulatory Compliance Manager on a permanent basis to join their team. As a Regulatory Compliance Manager you will report directly to the Head of Governance and be involved in training and mentoring the rest of the Governance team. You will be familiar with corporate governance matters facing public sector organisations and a legal background or qualification would be highly advantageous. You will be knowledgeable regarding the GDPR and will act as the lead for the organisation on this front, alongside other information security matters. You must have a track record of remaining up to date with emerging industry practices and legislation, and experience of filtering this within an organisation.
Management experience would be advantageous as you will be responsible for managing a small team. Previous experience of writing compliance policies and procedures is required for this post. You will have a proven track record in dealing with governance in line with statutory requirements.
