This is a great opportunity for an aspirational corporate lawyer to join a FTSE 250 retailer in a broad role.
The company is now looking for a corporate lawyer to join the team in the UK head office. Reporting to the Group Legal Director, you will be responsible for range of corporate, corporate compliance, and commercial areas, including corporate M&A, JVs, corporate governance, internal reorganisation, due diligence, transactions, trade mark portfolio management, broad co-sec work, NDAs, and lease agreements.
You will have a be 2 + PQE with a corporate background from private practice (but confident and bright 1PQE lawyers will also be considered). This role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is adept at identifying what needs to be done and stepping in to accomplish this, who can manage a range of tasks at one time and who can deal with a variety of people on different levels. Excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour are essential.
