FTSE-listed technology company based in the northern home counties are looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel for a 12-month period, covering maternity leave.
About the Role
The Senior Legal Counsel will be given the opportunity to play a key role in a wide variety of work, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and leading negotiations on a variety of commercial agreements including technology, e-commerce, marketing, logistics, procurement distribution and licensing
- Providing advice to key stakeholders on data privacy issues
- Managing relationships with external counsel
- Leading training initiatives across the company on legislation changes
About You
This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 7 years' PQE, although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. The critical factor is that you are able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading complex commercial contract negotiations within an in-house environment. You must be comfortable building relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, whilst also possessing the humility to deal with the more routine tasks when required.
