Ecclesiastical Paralegal

One of the truly leading and longstanding North East firms with a central Newcastle office are looking to employ a commercial property paralegal to focus on Ecclesiastical paralegal work. This is a unique opportunity for a paralegal with a commercial property background to be exposed to high value and more complex commercial property matters. This is not an opportunity to be missed.

This unique role will see the successful candidate sit within the commercial property team. Commercial Property Paralegals are in high demand in Newcastle and so this opportunity should stand out as a role to work on more complex/chunky matters such as multi-party transactions and church conversions. The firm is going through an exciting period of growth over the next few years so this is a very exciting time to be joining the firm.

Role
-You will provide administrative support to the diocese of Durham, along with their team and parishioners.
-On top of this niche area you will sit alongside the commercial property team, offering paralegal support for the fee earners within the Newcastle office.
-Exposure to high value complex commercial and ecclesiastical matters inclusive of preparing marriage licenses, church/building planning procedures amongst much more.
-The role will see you handling some very high quality and high value work, coupled with joining a firm at an expansion period is an excellent opportunity.

Experience
-Our client does not expect you to have ecclesiastical experience and you will be fully trained on this however it is essential you have a general commercial property background.
-You should be hardworking and enthusiastic about practicing within a niche area.
-You will be required to manage various processes and work closely with a number of excellent commercial property Partners and Solicitors. It is therefore essential you have excellent organisational skills.
-Client care is essential and must be at the forefront of your role as in particular you will be working closely with a lot of faith based organisations.
