Our client is a leading international law firm with over 50 offices spanning the globe. They have nearly 4000 lawyers across Europe, North & Latin America, Asia, Middle & Far East and Australia. Their London based accounts department provides a professional service to the international practice.
They are now looking to hire an Assistant Tax Manager for the Partner Finance, Tax and Capital team. The Assistant Tax Manager will be reporting to the Senior Tax Manager and Head of Partner Finance, Tax and Capital.
Responsibilities
Partnership profit share calculations, tax reserving, distribution and partner communication.
Partnership tax computation including double tax relief claims.
Corporation tax returns for the Partnership’s UK service company.
Partner drawings and distributions.
Maintenance and reconciliation of direct tax nominal ledger accounts.
Liaison with overseas advisors and Finance Controllers to ensure timely income & corporation tax compliance.
Support Finance Team colleagues with withholding tax management and recovery.
Support Finance Team colleagues with international projects and initiatives (new office openings etc.).
Candidate Profile
ACA/ ACCA/ CTA qualified with solid experience in a professional environment.
Practical experience of income and corporation tax returns.
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders in a professional and eloquent manner.
Self-review, discipline and intellectual curiosity.
Strong experience in the use of Excel.
High and focused energy levels.
