Paralegal

A leading UK company are looking for a Paralegal to join their Birmingham based in-house legal team for a full-time, 3-month fixed term contract that has view to develop into a permanent role.

Responsibilities of your new role

Key responsibilities of the in house Paralegal will include:

• Reviewing, drafting and supporting the negotiation of commercial contracts including Non-Disclosure agreements, Novation agreements and Assignments.
• Attending meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders;
• Providing advice to the team to achieve resolution of commercial disputes; and
• Legal research relating to commercial contracts and relaying the information to the wider company in plain English.

Required skills and experience

The successful Paralegal will demonstrate:

• 2 years of experience in a legal team, preferably a commercial contracts team;
• Drive and confidence;
• Excellent attention to detail; and
• Ability to handle a heavy workload.

Salary

The company are offering an excellent salary of £23,000 - £27,000 per annum (pro rata) for the successful Paralegal hire.
