Leading US law firm in London which has undergone impressive expansion is looking to hire a new HR Manager, who will report in to the Director of Talent, with the role incorporating employee relations, staff recruiting, onboarding and workforce management. The role will also require advisory work as a Business Partner to the London Managing Partner, the Director of Operations and firm Partners.  Duties will include being asked to provide guidance to Attorneys and staff on employee relations and performance management issues (e.g., coaching, discipline, hiring, termination), support and administer the Firm’s initiatives and operations at local level, such as: business support staff training & development programs, performance assessments, onboarding processes, rewards and benefits and leave of absence, assist with annual salary reviews and compensation adjustments for staff, build a strong and collaborative working relationships with all Talent Management staff, partner with the Director of Business Operations in respect of business support staff hiring and CSS performance management, manage and assist with flexible working requests and changes to terms and conditions, carry out exit interviews and complete relevant analysis and recommendations, collate and analyse management information e.g. headcount data and provide reports, manage fixed term contracts and contract lawyers, maintain accurate records and keep all HR systems up to date, assist Talent Management with visa sponsorship processes, secondments, induction and orientation programmes and handle additional related projects as assigned.  Applicants need to be degree educated, CIPD qualified and have had strong exposure to Employee Relations issues and resolutions preferably with 5 years + HR from a law firm or professional services environment.
