Head of Operations, Real Estate Team, £100-£110k

Very successful city law firm with an excellent reputation is actively recruiting for a Head of Operations within their Real Estate practice group. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Department (HOD) and the firm’s Chief Executive. 

The ultimate aim of this role will be to run the department in a way that allows the partners to focus the majority of their time on leadership and business/client facing activities by working closely with the business services teams i.e. Finance, Business Development, Risk and Compliance, Facilities, Human Resources, Knowledge Management and IT, to shape and deliver activity into Real Estate, with focus on consistency and the time impact on the department. 

The Head of Operations will be part of the Business Services Heads group which meets on a monthly basis to share information on projects and activities.

To apply you will have an in-depth understanding of the workings of a professional services business, within a legal environment, strong financial and business management acumen, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse information, identify the root causes of any problems and propose pragmatic solutions, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, ideally with experience of leading and developing others and possess strong communication and influencing skills.
