Team Leader

Are you an experienced paralegal with management, team leader or supervisory experience? We have been instructed on a fantastic new Assistant Team Leader role at a top tier commercial law firm in Leeds, who are looking for a confident paralegal to help manage a team within their large commercial property department.

Working closely with the senior manager, you would be providing operational support in regards to the paralegals on your team and assist them with their development and performance. Allocating work, carrying out performance reviews and general line management duties will be tasks you can expect to be given. Previous supervisory experience and a passion for management is therefore required for this aspect of the role. Essentially you will be working with Lawyers, Paralegals and Apprentices to identify work for the sub-team , proactively promoting new business opportunities to internal and external clients and contributing to the development of the sub-team and the wider department.

Aside your Team Leader duties, you would also be handling a caseload of commercial property/Real Estate matters that your team may need assistance with. Experience of Real Estate legal work is however desirable but not essential and the firm are happy to consider candidates from other areas of discipline. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
