The Position:
The successful candidate will work closely with an exceptional Legal Team to provide advice and support services to the business across a wide range of commercial and contractual matters. The role will incorporate direct exposure and interaction with the Senior Sales Managers and Business Unit Leaders on a range of business critical matters. It is within this fast paced environment that the company and its employees thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating complex data supply contracts and client agreements.
* Advising on both data protection and compliance.
* Drafting and updating standard contract terms and variations to standard contracts and agreements.
* Providing legal advice and guidance to sales staff and stakeholders.
* Organising legal training for sales teams.
* Prioritising the workload and communicating with business leaders.
* Keeping abreast of all relevant legislation and taking appropriate action.
* Collaborating with a broad range of other internal and external contacts.
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified lawyer (3-5 Years PQE) with commercial contracts experience. A candidate should be familiar with English Law and have practiced in the UK, however, as this is a global company it would be beneficial for a candidate to have some international experience- This role is suitable for both private practice and current in-house lawyers and while working in-house is desirable it is also a great opportunity for a candidate with a background in private practice to make the transition across.
