Social Housing Regulatory Solicitor.
This highly regarded national UK law firm in the South West are expanding their Somerset office and looking to recruit a mid level solicitor or legal executive into their social housing team.
This is not a transactional property role, but sits within the wider corporate and commercial department.
Here you will be advising registered providers of social housing on all governance and regulatory matters. These large clients are based nationally and operate as corporate companies.
In this role you will advise on compliance, board member powers and responsibilities, give advice on board representation, charity law and policy. You should be able to advise on changes to and interpretation of the rules as well as advice on corporate governance structures.
Although a UK Top tier law firm, this office maintains a friendly atmosphere and personal touch, which is reflected in how clients are treated.
You will work alongside the wider UK team, and will enjoy autonomy and be used to working on your own initiative.
Solicitors and legal executives with at least 4-5 years' relevant social housing/and or governance/regulatory experience are encouraged to apply.
