Sole Legal Counsel UK- Rapidly expanding Technology business
Gloucestershire - Commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and Swindon
Salary - up to £70,000 + Pension to 7%, + Quarterly bonus
An exceptional opportunity for a Commercial / IT Lawyer to join a fast paced and highly innovative technology company.
Reporting into the CEO you will oversee all Legal matters for the UK business with a dotted line into the Group General Counsel based in Germany. You will act as a true business partner, fully integrating yourself with all the key stakeholders across the business in the UK and internationally.
The position offers excellent scope and variety supporting the business with a wide range of commercial contracts, IT / IP, software licensing agreements, property leases, data protection / GDPR, regulatory and compliance and litigation matters.
You may currently be working in private practice or in-house either way you will need to have the gravitas to support and provide practical solutions to key stakeholder across the business. You will be confident drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and will ideally have experience of working within a technology related business. Knowledge of cloud based services, internet law and SAAS solutions would also be of interest.
