Debt Recovery Team Leader

Pivotal role at leading commercial practice for a Senior Debt Recovery Fee Earner looking for to take their career to the next stage. Based in a fast paced Debt team in central Leeds you will be working across a wide variety of sectors such as retail, utilities, energy and benefit fraud. This is an important recruit for a technical fee earner with supervisory experience looking to work for one of the best debt litigation teams in Leeds.
Our client has a fantastic reputation on the legal market, in particular their debt team who work with a wide variety of well-known household names. With such diverse work on offer, no day in this job will be the same.

The Role:
- Technical fee earning role with team leader responsibilities
- Litigated caseload working across a range of sectors
- Day to day management of a team of around 8 paralegals of varying levels of experience

The Candidate:
-The successful candidate will have strong experience of handling volume and niche litigation files, within a claimant environment.
-Working closely with clients, you must be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
-You will have extensive experience of working in a Debt Litigation environment and be fully acquainted with all Pre Action processes, the issuing of Claims in the county court, Judgments and all the enforcement methods
- Previous supervisory experience essential
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
