Our client are seeking a contentious lawyer, preferably with prior experience of working in-house at a financial services organisation, for a 12 month contract role in their disputes & regulatory legal team.

Description
As part of the disputes & regulatory team, the successful contentious lawyer will cover a broad range of legal & regulatory issues, advise on wider contentious caseload for the business's various subsidiaries (including fraud claims, coverage issues and reputational aspects) and lead teams on the execution of major projects from a wide range of contentious areas (e. FCA analysis, Section 166 reports, HR matters, Data Security issues).
Profile
The successful contentious lawyer will be a qualified lawyer with practical experience of handling a wide ranging contentious caseload, preferably within the financial services space.
A knowledge of relevant insurance & reinsurance regulatory matters would be a real plus, but is not necessarily a requirement.
