THE ROLE

Within a leading world class global Corporate and M&A practice which is among a small group of elite firms at the top of the market.

What makes this firm one of the most respected Corporate practices globally is their client base, the mandates they win, their industry expertise and commercial approach, their people and their intellectual capability.

ABOUT YOU

The team is seeking both outstanding mid-level lawyers with M&A experience and mid-senior lawyers with UK takeover and public company experience.

Successful lawyers at all levels must have excellent document drafting skills and demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness.

With more senior experience, candidates will be expected to demonstrate both specific (and preferably high-value) corporate finance and M&A experience; and experience in organising and managing transactions. For individuals wishing to focus on public M&A, experience acting for both bidders and target companies in public takeovers is important.

For those at a more junior level, experience of listed company work is helpful, although not essential.

Desire to develop a career in a broad public/private M&A/ corporate finance practice is key.

To be considered you will have a strong academic history, a solid background in corporate work, probably gained at a City firm, or at an overseas common law practice with a highly regarded profile.

Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. Please note our advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the minimum level of experience required. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfill this kind of work.
