FinTech Contracts Manager - In House

Our client is a financial software and managed services company based in central London with an international office network. The firm is on a steep growth curve and as things have become busier they are now looking to hire an IT Contracts Manager to assist Legal Counsel (based in New York) with a range of legal duties. In particular, the team are looking for somebody with a proven track-record dealing with technology / software licensing and general commercial contracts.

Duties include:

• Assisting GC and working with a Senior Paralegal and contract team in preparing and reviewing contracts.
• Draft and perform initial review of technology related contracts including software license agreements, maintenance and support agreements, professional services agreements, distributor agreements, non-disclosure and other agreements routinely used in financial and information technology service sectors.
• Working directly with attorneys and clients during corporate transactions and commercial negotiations, referring to General Counsel as needed.
• Keeping up to date with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain computerized contract activity log.
• Respond to general requests of a legal nature as they arise, referring to General Counsel as needed

You must have at least 12 months relevant experience working in-house for a comparable software and IT solutions business. Our client is looking to hire on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure work at a firm with true career development potential.
