Investigations Manager (Commercial Litigation)
 

Our client, a very well regarded, full service law firm, are looking for a Investigations manager to join their Commercial Team. The role will involve managing a team of temporary staff.

You will be responsible for running Litigation investigations, including SRA Interventions – although experience of this specifically is not necessary.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of support staff including Paralegals.
• Reviewing uplifted practice papers and files to ascertain the stage at which the proceedings have reached and taking any appropriate action.
• Notifying all current clients of the intervened firm that their firm has been intervened and assisting them with all issues that may arise.
• Dealing with correspondence and telephone calls.
• Logging reviewed files onto the Case Management Software. o Handling accounting information and analysing files to ascertain beneficial ownership of monies held in trust.
• Organising boxes and files received from an intervened firm. o Preparing monthly invoices and financial reports for the SRA.

You will have:

• A strong academic background
• Some understanding of Conveyancing
• Some experience of Litigation
• Experience of running own caseload
• Good CRM skills
