Childcare Lawyer required to join an alternative business structure which are wholly owned by public bodies.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large practice and be able to undertake work for public sector bodies. You will be able to undertake all public childcare work and will have a caseload of around 15-17 files. This will include pre proceeding and proceeding matters. Advocacy is not necessary for the role due to in-house counsel however they would encourage to do your own advocacy as and when you are able to do so. There is also strong paralegal support and you share a paralegal between 3 lawyers.

There is room for flexible working arrangements with condensed hours, working from home and a shorter working week for those that require it.

There is free parking on site which makes it easily accessible by car. It is also close to a train station and is accessible from London, Home Counties and the East Anglia region. There are prospects for this to be on either a locum, fixed term or permanent basis due to the expansion within their legal services so I strongly encourage candidates from public sector and private practice to apply who are seeking either length of contracts.
