This is a great opportunity to join a highly respected Care Department which is recognised as one of the leading providers of advice to families and professionals involved with Social Services in the East Midlands. They have an in-depth understanding of the system and the law which underpins it and have vast experience of working with both families and children ensuring that the best interests of the child are always at the forefront.
You will be an experienced Solicitor specialising in representing immediate and extended family members in all aspects of Childcare Law and Protective Orders including: Care and Supervision Orders; Secure Accommodation Orders; Placement Orders and Adoption; Special Guardianship Orders; Pre-proceedings advice where Social Services are holding a Child Protection Conference or Pre-proceedings Meeting; Advice regarding section 20 Children Act 1989; Non-molestation and Occupation Orders etc.
You will ideally have achieved membership of the Law Society Children’s Panel or be happy to work towards this.
