Group Financial Services Solicitor

Yorkshire based financial services powerhouse with enviable reputation and highly regarded legal function requires a solicitor to complement their team.

Liaising with senior management and key stakeholders throughout the group, you'll be providing expert and strategic legal advice on a timely basis with an emphasis on advising upon all aspects of financial services law and regulation, including all financial products. Experience of advising upon the legal and regulatory regimes with regard to mortgages and property law would be especially useful, given it is a key element of the role.

Along with other lawyers in the team you will have responsibility for drafting, reviewing, maintaining and advising upon all product related terms and conditions and other relevant customer documentation and associated material across the Group and regularly reviewing documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 3 years PQE and experience of mortgage and property law would prove highly advantageous, although we'd be keen to speak to any candidates who have exposure of FS and FS regulation.
