RTA PARALEGAL - MANCHESTER

RTA Paralegal - Due to a recent client win and a general increase in workflow the insurance litigation team of this major firm is looking to hire a fee earner to handle a mixed caseload of pre-litigated RTA MOJ Portal cases and litigated RTA matters. Claimant or defendant experience will be considered and the successful applicant will also receive thorough training and supervision

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Job Title: Paralegal / Fee Earner
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £17,500 - £23,000
• Reports to: Associate
• Previous Experience: Ideally applicants should be able to demonstrate 6 months or more experience of the claims process including the MOJ Portal with particular experience of small claims up to £10,000. The work undertaken by the team involves bodily injury matters so any experience in this regard would be useful.

STRUCTURE OF THE TEAM

The team is headed by two Senior Associates who ensure all work is managed and delegated effectively. As noted above, the department also fosters an environment where all fee earners receive excellent training and support.

More junior fee earners are also supervised where necessary, but only to the extent where supervision is required. In the main, the successful applicant will be encouraged to develop the confidence to work autonomously as soon as possible.

Candidates who already have an experience of the claims process whether on the claimant or defendant side will be at an advantage.
