A higher education institution in the North West requires an interim Contracts Officer to join their Research Contracts team for an initial 3 month period with strong possibility of extension.

Day to day duties:

• Reviewing, drafting, amending and advising on a broad range of legal contracts and agreements including a variety of research and innovation related contracts
• Conducting the necessary due diligence in respect of terms and conditions of related agreements
• Responsible for providing advice and guidance to staff and colleagues

The successful candidate needs to have previous experience working in a university or higher education institution dealing with research contracts. Candidates do not need to be a Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive and so all candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply..
