An opportunity has arisen for a part time In-House Lawyer who is confident to operate as sole counsel during a period of maternity leave and able to support the Head of Legal on her return.
This vacancy has arisen within a European service provider in South Cheshire and is being offered on a 4 or 5 day basis with the option to work from home on one or two of those days.
The Role
This in house counsel role is varied, and you will perform the following duties:
- Advise the business on commercial matters
- Support the sales team in the negotiation of contracts
- Involvement in data protection and pre-litigation disputes
- Work with the team to deal with pan-European issues
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years’ PQE
- Previous in-house experience is desirable
- A solid background in commercial contracts law is essential
- Strong academic background
