The Role
As the Sole Counsel (EMEA), you manage all legal matters across Europe, reporting to the Lead Counsel in the US. You will support the sales team, drafting and negotiating high-value commercial contracts, whilst navigating within global legal frameworks, and providing legal support to various business divisions.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to;
- Drafting and negotiating high value agreements including SaaS, licenses, sales, distribution & outsourcing agreements
- Advising stakeholders on data privacy, GDPR and act as the subject matter expert for the group
- Providing strategic level support and planning for the groups future growth and success
- Reviewing and giving guidance on newly introduced legislation and the potential impact on business units
- Identifying legal and commercial risk for the business.
You
The successful candidate will be/have;
- UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE. Significant experience leading on complex technology agreements (software licenses, SaaS)
- Comfortable advising on GDPR and privacy matters.
- Previous in-house experience, ideally at a software business, however candidates straight from private practice will be considered.
- Fluency in French or German will be highly regarded
