REMOTE WORKING & FLEXIBILITY

On behalf of our client, a firm based in the North West, we would be keen to speak to lawyers experienced in Commercial and/or Corporate law who are looking for greater flexibility and interested in working on a consultancy basis.

Although the firm’s client base is national, you are able to work remotely from anywhere in the country as face-to-face client meetings are uncommon. So long as the work is completed in a timely fashion, you are also able to choose your working days and hours, so this role would certainly suit someone who has other commitments or is perhaps already working part-time and would like to do something extra.

You should be sufficiently experienced and confident in either commercial contracts or corporate law – or ideally both. You will need to be able to work autonomously and without supervision on a range of commercial and corporate matters, such as drafting shareholders agreements, working on asset and share sales and drafting a range of commercial agreements.

You will be provided with a company email address and will have access to a case management system. Insurance, administration, marketing and the billing of the client is taken care of for you; you are simply responsible for completing the work and supplying an invoice for your time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys their work but doesn’t enjoy a lengthy commute or office politics.

You will need to have a current UK practising certificate and a limited company already set up.
