One of the leading offshore law firms in the world is looking for newly qualified transactional lawyers to join its Jersey and Guernsey operations. Openings exist for general corporate lawyers, banking lawyers, and investment fund lawyers who expect to qualify in 2019.

These roles offer a great alternative to the City. You will enjoy exposure to high-value international deals and will notice that you begin to take on responsibility and deal with clients far earlier than your peers in big onshore firms. You will benefit from working with some of the brightest and best corporate, funds and finance lawyers around, but in the kind of down to earth and collegiate environment that can be hard to find elsewhere. You will need strong academics and a training contract with a good commercial law firm (City/International/top-regional), including at least one relevant seat. You will also need good communication skills and a genuine team focused approach.
