Newly Qualified (NQ) Asset Finance Lawyer – Magic Circle Firm / Hong Kong

Our client, a Magic Circle law firm, is looking to recruit a newly qualified lawyer to join its market leading Hong Kong Asset Finance team. The work on offer spans asset and structured finance, acting for financiers (debt and equity) and lessors in all aspects of aircraft finance and leasing (in particular, in relation to the Japanese and PRC markets) as well as finance and leasing transactions involving ships and other vessels, motor vehicle fleets, rolling-stock, telecommunications and power generation equipment and project finance.

Applications are therefore sought from NQ’s either qualifying in March or September 2019 that have experience in the aviation and/or asset finance practice areas in particular. Possessing superb academics and currently with a recognised international firm, Chinese language skills are strongly preferred.

Working closely with senior lawyers, our client offers immediate responsibility and access to deals / clients in addition to a sophisticated training and development programme. The team is small in HK but supported by colleagues across Asia and internationally, so applicants will need to be self-starters that are looking for what is a dynamic and challenging working environment.
