In-House Legal Counsel

My client, a leading telecommunications service provider, is looking to add an In-House Legal Counsel with strong Commercial Contracts/Projects experience to its legal team of 6.

The firm

The firm is a growing force in the telecommunications infrastructure market, which already supplies to over 1 million people in the UK, with a further 5 million in the pipeline. Some of its clients include the UK’s biggest internet and mobile phone service providers. It employs over 400 people across the UK and c70 in its London office

The role

The Head of Legal wishes to add an experienced 2-4 years’ PQE In-House Legal Counsel with relevant Commercial Contracts/Projects experience to its team. You will sit alongside a similarly experienced In-House Lawyer and report directly to the Head of Legal. Ideally you will have some contentious experience, and an exposure to corporate/employment law is desirable. It is NOT necessary to have previous In-House experience for this role.

It is possible to work 1-2 days/week from home if necessary, and there is a generous bonus scheme of up to 20% of your remuneration of offer.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-4 years’ PQE in Commercial/contracts/Projects or a similar inhouse role
• Have trained at a reputable private practice firm
• Excellent academic credentials
• An outgoing and gregarious personality
• A willingness to take on a wide variety of work
