Your new role
A new Legal counsel position reporting into the Global legal function, focusing on commercial, employment and other generalist matters. The work will include negotiating and drafting high value business agreements, including master service, software, services, supplier and vendor agreements. Additionally, the successful candidate will advise the HR teams across Europe on employment matters including policies and regulatory guidance, while ensuring company compliance with immigration matters. This role will also involve advising as the first escalation point in relation to disputes and will require someone with the confidence to build relationships with internal stakeholders at different levels across different jurisdictions. Fluent Mandarin Chinese ability is essential for this position.

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a fluent Mandarin speaking lawyer ideally with UK qualification and at least 1 years' PQE (as a guide). You will be a commercial lawyer with strong contracts experience and training from a reputable law firm. Subsequent in-house experience is welcomed, though it is not essential. You will have excellent technical and contractual ability, the skills to advise the business as a generalist advisor and the cultural sensitivity to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders on a cross-jurisdictional basis. You will be keen to forge a long-term career at this global leader, with a positive attitude including the willingness to learn and be pro-active. You must have unrestricted right to work in the UK.
