Regulatory department at this commercial law firm in Ipswich requires a Regulatory/ Corporate Defence Solicitor or Barrister of 1 or more years’ PQE/ Call. The department covers a broad range of work and position will involve work across a broad range of regulatory and criminal matters including: • Health and safety • Environmental • Trading Standards • Transport regulatory • Food law • Motoring defence • Private criminal defence • Licensing.

You will advise corporate and individual clients on regulatory and criminal matters, including defending clients in criminal courts and advocating, where appropriate. You will also be involved in client investigations. Other responsibilities will include running and managing files and delegating to trainees and paralegals as appropriate, as well as supporting the team on larger and more complex matters.
