My client is an established derby-based law firm currently looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor 5+ years PQE experience. (happy to consider candidates willing to relocate)
The commercial property role will be a varied workload of commercial property work whilst building own caseload to ensure the successful development of the department in line with business plans.
Key duties will include:
- Dealing with commercial leases and lease renewals.
- Landlord and tenant work.
- Acquisition of business premises.
- Development work including promotion and joint venture agreements.
- Transfers to pension funds.
- Sales, purchases and lease of licensed premises.
- General property advice.
- Assisting the corporate and commercial department with commercial property aspects.
- Supervision of fee earning work undertaken by colleagues.
- Management of support services.
The ideal candidate:
- Admission to the solicitor's role with 5+ years PQE experience.
- Supervisory and mentoring skills.
- Good communication skills.
