Conveyencing Legal Secretary.
 
This highly established law firm based in Coventry is now looking to recruit an experienced legal secretary to join their expanding property department on a full time, permanent basis. This firm can offer you a competitive salary, free onsite parking, as well as a friendly atmosphere.  
 
You will be expected to provide key secretarial support to the fee earners within the conveyancing department, where your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • To prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing.
  • To provide administrative support to Fee Earners in case preparation and legal matters generally.
  • To administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the Office Manual.
  • To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
  • To arrange for all copying to be done, in person if the reprographics team is not available to undertake the task.
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for his/her principal.
  • To prepare the Conference Room for meetings as necessary and for the tidying and clearance of the room at the end of the meeting.
  • To provide refreshments when asked to do so.
  • To provide support to other secretaries as required.
  • To provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries when required to do so.
  • To attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information
In order to be considered for this commercial and residential property legal secretary role based in Coventry, you must have at least 2-3 years+ experience working within property law, have excellent audio copy typing skills, have strong communication skills, and willing to go the extra mile for your client and colleagues.
