An organisation delivering education services and supporting improvement of education and welfare in developing markets are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their in-house team in London for a full-time, permanent role. This business is a leader in their field, with a growing international network of schools across the globe.

Responsibilities of your new role

Joining the small in-house legal function, your core duties as Legal Counsel will include:

• Advising on broadly corporate and commercial matters;
• Overseeing transactional M&A work; and
• Act as a legal go-to for the wider business.

This In-House Counsel role has scope to evolve, as such the appointee will gain broad exposure to a high level of responsibility.

Candidate requirements

The in-house team are looking to speak with qualified lawyers who demonstrate:

• 1-3 years of PQE;
• Corporate or commercial law experience gained from a leading UK law firm; and
• In-house experience either by way of secondment or a permanent move.
