An established law firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor (Family) to join their thriving team
The daily responsibilities would include:
- Providing legal advice relating to children's services to a high quality
- Managing complex projects and assessing known risks, and being able to adapt to situations.
- Taking control of and dealing with a substantial legal caseload
- Attending and advising at committee meetings
- Advocacy
Minimum requirements would include:
- To be a Solicitor or Legal Executive, with a minimum of 2 PQE
- At least 2 years' experience handling all aspects of child care matters.
- Previously handled a caseload of childcare matters with minimal supervision, this includes:
- Care and Supervisions Cases,
- EPOs
- Interim Care Orders
- Special Guardianship
- Adoption Matters as well as private law
- Desirable to have experience working in private practice roles previously. The firm offers a competitive remuneration package, pension and benefits
