A large commercial firm in Central Manchester is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Partner to head up their team.
Their commercial property team is nationally recognised and handles all aspects of commercial property from the outset through to fruition. They represent an established a loyal clientele with continuing prospect of expansion. They are renowned for their service with client satisfaction being an integral part of their business model which drives the business forward.
As partner it would be your duty to drive the department's growth and development including the management and supervision of the team.
This role would suit an individual who is currently working at associate or partner level currently and is seeking a new opportunity for own personal development and career growth. This is also ideal for those wanting to develop a new team and have hit the proverbial glass ceiling feeling like they can do no more in their current position.
The daily responsibilities would include:
- Development
- Construction
- Retail acquisitions and management
- Landlord and tenant issues
- Lease negotiation and preparation
- Environmental issues
- Funding and security
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial and residential properties
- Planning
Minimum requirements would include:
- To be a Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE
- Excellent client care skills
- Be keen to see the business grow and be integral in this aspect
- IT Literate
- Strong Communication Skills
- Currently working as a Partner or Associate in a large Legal500 Firm
- Previous experience heading up a commercial property department
- Strong managerial experience supervising junior lawyers and other integral members of a team
- Full UK Driving License and Own Car as some clients are based around the North West
- Proven track record of business development
The salary will be in line with market rate and commensurate with a candidate's experience. There is also a healthy benefits package for the successful individual
