My client is a fairly new but rapidly growing law firm based in Halifax; they currently offer first class service across a number of areas of law. The firm is currently seeking an experienced Immigration consultant to join the team on a part time basis.

The role

The successful candidate will be required to provide efficient legal assistance, advice and representation to a range of clients from diverse backgrounds.

Principle Accountabilities:

• To complete a range of immigration forms, letters and applications
• To Conduct delegated and routine work on files under the supervision of a Solicitor in the following areas of immigration law:
• Refugee & Human Rights Law
• European Law
• Work & Study in the UK
• Family Visits and Settlement
• Deportation Appeals
• Naturalisation

The candidate

Ideally 2-6 years PQE and will be motivated and organised; you will be proficient with Applications such as Tier 1 & 2, Nationality and ILR applications. You will have good IT skills, able will be an effective communicator both orally and written. A following and multi lingual speech would ideal but not essential.
