If you have experience with the development of a Legal CMS (Case Management Systems) and are looking for an opportunity to join a highly regarded and successful Manchester based law firm, then this role presents the perfect opportunity.

As an experienced Proclaim Developer you will be working in their IT team with other developers, focussed on ensuring that the CMS is kept up to date and capable of serving the needs of the Firm and its lawyers. This role requires someone who is capable of working in a team and communicating well with all stakeholders. A key aspect is understanding and interpreting the needs of those who may not be able to describe things technically nor understand the requirements or limitations of the software systems.

• Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 experience dependant

• Reports to: Head of Development
• Previous Experience: Experience in a CMS development role - ideally Proclaim - or equivalent is important to ensure you can seamlessly join the team. As would be expected, skills in report writing, understanding SQL, workflow creation, and database design and maintenance are key.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The role of a Proclaim Developer requires an individual who is capable of adapting their approach so that business needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for several Proclaim Systems you need to be organised, methodical and able to focus on increasing the productivity of the users, be it either through necessary maintenance or further development. As such you need to be comfortable working on the database fields, screen design and workflows. The focus on report design and generation must be to add value to the end user, since a commercial environment such as Law requires ever more timely and accurate information to be made available. Whilst not essential, SQL experience will always be seen as a beneficial skill to bring to the table.
