Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager (EMEA) aligned to Banking & Finance in forward-thinking global law firm – London-based, up to £65,000.

This forward-thinking law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to support the continued development of its world-leading Banking and Finance practice for EMEA across all industry sectors. A confident, persuasive and assertive candidate is being sought with leadership skills who and can implement strategic, client-focused and value-added initiatives. This full-mix BD role involves business planning, client development, profile raising and bid management. You will enjoy working in a really friendly team, many of whom are long-standing. You will also enjoy flexible working with a good work life balance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing annual business plans for the EMEA banking & finance team,
• Supporting relationship partners as the lead BDM on specific key clients;
• Project management of transactional and strategic bids;
• Running targeting campaigns and thought leadership;
• Developing the firm’s profile in your sector, working with the Comms and PR team.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Marketing/Business Development role in a professional services firm;
• Excellent project management skills with demonstratable experience of this;
• Ability to be client facing, experience of working with clients;
• Bid management and writing experience;
• Ideally some knowledge of the banking and finance sector.
